Contest Observations
Contest Observations
It is observed that it is customary in industry to undertake sensitivity analysis as part of financial modelling as illustrated in Contest Video Guide 4.1. Conditional application of Base Case, Downside Case and Growth Case sensitivity analysis may prove useful in contests which have high uncertainty in forecast ranges.
It is observed that it is customary in industry that members in teams are assigned specific sector roles as part of their coverage or specialization, to reduce social pressures towards 100% group consensus.
It is observed that forecasting methods that rely upon publicly available tools or public presentation such as A.I., may become less reliable when there is zero existing analyst coverage or involve Tickers that are unloved or undiscussed.
It is observed that Tickers with smaller EPS will have a larger impact on the final Score if there are miscalculations.
