Championship Rules

Kanly Physical Challenge

1. A select number of top contenders from each championship event will be invited by Finance Royale to determine the series Interim Champion at Year End. Generally they will be chosen on the basis of Awards received, but other additional factors may be considered such as overall performance across all contests.

2. The preferred method of determination of the Interim Champion will be via a physical challenge  that demonstrates physical prowess, timing/reflexes or tactical flexibility. At a designated Finance Royale facility or Education Partner facility, contenders must mutually negotiate a physical challenge and complete it within 2 minutes in a preset order. 

3. Appropriate dress standard is required for the physical challenge , such as business attire or Finance Royale Apparel.  

4. Top contenders will challenge each other according to descending order. For example, the Number 3 Ranked contender must first challenge the Number 2 Ranked contender. The winner of this bout must then challenge the Number 1 Ranked contender. If there is no prior Interim Champion, then the undefeated contender is deemed the Inaugural Champion after the final bout.

5. Prior to onsite negotiations only one member from each Team can be designated as "The Trader" with sole responsibility for physical execution. Each Trader must sign a Liability Waiver and Video Royalty Agreement prior to the physical actions.

6. Suggested examples of such physical challenges are:  push-up count, unbroken skipping count, and circuit running. If a physical challenge has not been agreed to by the Traders, "The Coach" will designate  a Kanly Physical Challenge.  

7. All contenders can yield their physical challenge match on location, and be declared a "Yield".

8. Each contender can exercise Challenge Trump Cards if the contenders are verified Owners of the Trump Cards.

9. For the determination of the Championship, one of the current PRIDE Event contenders must defeat the Interim or Undisputed Champion from the prior PRIDE Event with a Kanly Physical Challenge. Therefore it is a Lineal Championship and provides Video Proof of a Test of Humanity.

10. The Interim Champion of the final PRIDE Event of the calendar year, where at least two PRIDE Events have occurred, receives the title of Undisputed Champion and will receive one customized Championship Ring. 

Voight-Kampf or Turing Test

1. As an alternate to the Kanly Physical Challenge, contenders unable to visit a designated facility will be asked to undertake the Turing Test via recorded video in Google Meet or Zoom. Appropriate dress standard is required during the Turing Test , such as business attire or Finance Royale Apparel.  

2. A designated "Detective" will interrogate the contender or Trader to provide Video Proof of a Test of Analysis & Humanity. 

3. Where some contenders have attended the physical challenge and others have undertaken the alternate Turing Test, Finance Royale will in its sole discretion determine the Interim Champion. 

The PRIDE Lineal Championship Series rules do not override the Rules & Award.
